A 12-week journey through the beauty of nature, offered in three seasonal 4-week series. Beginners welcome :) Note: This page is for Wednesday evenings, 6-8pm at the Studio through February. Whether you’re new to watercolour or rediscovering your creative spark, this course is designed to ground, nurture, and inspire you during the rainiest and darkest months of the year. In my cozy Salt Spring Island studio, surrounded by plants, warm lighting, and the comfort of a hot beverage, we’ll gather weekly to explore nature’s wonders through watercolour. Using richly pigmented Daniel Smith paints crafted with earth elements like gemstones we’ll connect with the natural world in a meaningful, tactile way. We’ll explore the glow of sunsets, the quiet of a fresh snowy morning, the shimmer of water, and the magic of skies, each week focusing on one theme and skill set to build your confidence.
