A Love Affair With Colour (Wed AM)

This is so much more than an art course- it's a full sensory, connecting and transformative experience! Celebrating the 8th year in this playful signature annual series, we’ll discover how each colour intermingles with our sensory experiences as we explore the elements of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet/rose. Each week we’ll immerse ourselves in the full energetic expression of one colour through all our senses, with a focus on painting fresh seasonal flower blossoms using luscious Daniel Smith watercolours. From influencing emotions to harmonizing chakras, colour communicates in whispers with our psyche every day. Savour the richness of each colour in all its natural glory as we become attuned to each. This workshop emphasizes the fluid, sensual expression of richly pigmented watercolours as we honour Mother Earth's treasures: flower blossoms, fruits, and crystals. Each class begins with a brief guided meditation using the sound frequency of the corresponding chakra. June–July Classes (Wednesday mornings from 10 AM to 12 PM*): June 3 – Red: Earth + Presence June 10 – NOTE: Week off due to scheduling June 17 – Orange: Water + Pleasure June 24 – Yellow: Fire + Joy July 1 – Green: Air + Love July 8 – Blue: Ether + Clarity July 15 – Indigo: Light + Wisdom *July 22 – Violet & Rose/White: Enlightenment + Unity (*NOTE: this class is from 3-5pm due to Kids Summer Art Camp) If class fills up, DM to get on the wait list as cancellations happen.
