Week 2: NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

Week 3: Mindfulness and Somatic Techniques

Why These Techniques Work


These methodologies are not just theory—they're practices I’ve experienced and then used on myself to work through my own blocks, especially around having a greater impact and helping more people. You see, it was you—my students—who inspired me to return to school to become more responsible in how I can better serve. Q: Do I need to be creative or have a specific creative project in mind before starting the program?
A: No! Whether you’re simply wanting to release an old creative block you’re still struggling to overcome, returning to a long-lost creative passion or currently working on a project, this program is designed to support you wherever you are on your creative journey.

Q: What if I don’t feel comfortable sharing in front of the group?
A: You’re welcome to participate at your comfort level. While we encourage sharing and supporting one another, you can always observe and learn from others’ experiences if that feels safer for you. Additionally, the private online community provides another space for connection and reflection.

Q: How does the volunteer coaching work?
A: Each week, two participants will have the opportunity to receive 20-30 minutes of dedicated coaching. You don’t need to align your issue with the weekly theme—you can bring any creative block, challenge, or mindset hurdle you’re facing. This is a space for personalized support.

Q: What if I’m afraid to volunteer for coaching?
A: Feeling fear about being in the spotlight is completely natural. It’s important to get curious about this fear. Is it fear of being seen? Fear of using your voice? Fear of success or change? These are powerful insights to explore, and volunteering could be a breakthrough moment for you. Remember, this is a safe and supportive environment, designed to help you grow.

Q: Will the sessions be recorded?
A: Yes, each session will be recorded, and a link to the recording will be sent out within a few days. This way, you can review the material or catch up if you miss a session.

Q: Will we need to have our cameras on?
A: Yes, having cameras on is required to establish the safety and integrity of the group. It’s also essential for maintaining privacy—ensuring that no one else is listening in—as confidentiality is paramount.

Q: Can I use emojis for support or the chat during live sessions?
A: To respect and honour the coaching space, no emojis or chat messages are permitted during live coaching sessions. However, you are welcome to reach out to the volunteer after the session to show your support. Please refrain from relating with your own story at that time. There will be opportunities to briefly share your story either in the chat or during the group session when invited.

Q: What if I cry or get emotional during our session?
A: Crying is a natural release of energy and can often be an indication of a breakthrough, insight, or sudden awareness. When something moves from unconscious to conscious, it’s okay to cry. Vulnerability requires immense courage and a willingness to feel, and this is a safe space for those emotions.

Q: Do I need to complete all the workbook exercises to see results?
A: While the workbook is designed to enhance your experience and support your progress, the most important part of the journey is showing up to the sessions and participating. That said, those who engage with the resources and exercises often see deeper, more lasting transformations.

Q: What if I miss a session?
A: While it’s highly recommended that you attend all the sessions to gain the full benefit, we understand that life happens. You’ll still have access to the downloadable resources, the workbook, and the private online community to help you catch up. If you know you’ll miss a session, let us know ahead of time, and we’ll do our best to support you.

Q: Are there refunds if I can’t complete the program?
A: Just as there are no refunds for mental health support such as coaching and counselling, there are no refunds for this program.
