A continuation of the series "This is..."
 
Words come to me as little poems for each painting that evolves out of this series. This one, however, was waiting for me to find the words that already existed somewhere. Today (October 13, 2022) they were shared with me through a classmate. She said it comes from a piece posted on google “Why is Hope important” July 2014:

“Hope is a precursor to faith. While faith is believing and trusting in something that you cannot see, hope is imagining that there is something there to even believe and trust in. It is the belief in what could be. Hope redefines what is probable and opens the paths to the impossible.”
