Playful Watercolours - online via Zoom

Service Description

Let's gather together this summer and paint these super fun colourful treats! With a little imagination and some fresh juicy watercolours, this is a great little reprieve to coll off from the heat, while connecting with each other over what's sure to be a joyful experience to remember. Each class is designed to playfully ease you in to reconnecting with your creative inner child in a safe, supportive environment. The Zoom studio set up is thoughtfully designed for your optimal viewing experience. There will be two views, one of me as I engage with you and the class, and one from above my workspace with a clear view as I paint, guide and demonstrate each step of the way. Register for one class or all three. Choose from popsicles, lollipops, or ice cream cones. There will be more creative treats added as we go. Requests for other treats and dates/times welcome :) Classes: Lollipops: Sunday, June 11 / 9-11am PST Popsicles: Sunday, July 9 / 9-11am PST Ice Cream: Sunday, August 13 / 9-11am PST Welcome your children and family to join in the fun, your neighbours, friends, or gather your colleagues for a lighthearted team-building experience. You'll discover how to surrender and trust your creative process through simple guided techniques. Laughter and lightness, guaranteed! Suggested supplies list to gather and invest in before class: - pencil (mechanical pencil is best) - watercolour tubes or travel kit (I recommend Koi Sakura 24-pan travel kit, or tube brands Winsor & Newton, store brands Deserres, Opus, or an equivalent mid-range quality set in the $25-$50 range) *Note: quality paints tend to have stronger, more pigmented colours - watercolour brush #8 or 10 round (or fillable water brush that comes with Koi set) - 9x12" pad of watercolour cold press paper (we'll use 1-2 sheets), plus a scrap sheet for testing colours - jar of water - paper towel I am so looking forward to painting together! Cancellation Policy

Art Lessons & Classes: To reschedule a private lesson, please contact Daina with at least 24 hours notice. For cancellations with regards to a group class, art camp or workshop, refunds are conditional to your spot being refilled. It is greatly encouraged the student wishing to cancel find someone to replace their spot in order to ensure their refund. Credit towards a future creative experience may be issued in special circumstances. No-shows are considered time used, as otherwise that is a lost opportunity for someone else. Thank you for your understanding.
