Service Description
This beautiful 3-part art experience is open to just 5 participants. You’ll slow down, reconnect with your senses, and learn the Art of Seeing—learning to truly notice the beauty in everyday life or meaningful travel moments. We'll explore observational drawing, creative watercolour techniques, and simple ink work to bring your impressions to life in a travel or life journal that becomes a keepsake. Itinerary – Schedule: Day 1 / June 6 (5–8pm) – Studio Session (Merchants’ Mews) We’ll start with foundational skills, inspiration, and guided practice in a relaxed, supportive setting. Day 2 / June 7 (10–1pm) – Outdoor Session (Weather permitting) We’ll sketch and paint en plein air at Churchill or Beddis Beach, tucked under a shady tree at low tide, listening to the sounds of nature while we watercolour sketch/journal observations through our eyes and senses. Day 3 / June 8 (10–1pm) – Studio Return We’ll develop our outdoor sketches into finished compositions and add written reflections and creative details to our journals. What’s Included: ✔ Use of quality portable watercolour kits ✔ Watercolour paper + sturdy backing ✔ Brushes, pencils, art pens, masking tape, and more Want your own kit to take home? A curated watercolour journal kit can be pre-ordered through Dragonfly Art Supplies (located in Ganges by the seaplane dock).
